Real life success stories
Erik,
Here's how both myself and my company have used your program:
"As a manager with strong knowledge about the in's and out's of the mortgage business but mediocre sales leadership skills, I've struggled to find ways to motivate my loan officers and train them to increase their production on a consistent basis. Around the middle of this past summer, I stumbled upon the Loan Officer Survival training site that Erik Webster offers for loan officers both new and experienced. After listening to his training modules, I implemented several of his suggestions when dealing with my own personal production and immediately saw a 25% increase in loans originated and closed. I felt so strongly that the new methods that I had obtained from Erik's website were in direct correlation to my increase in production that I turned each of my loan officers onto his website for their own learning experiences. Within just a few months, I followed up with my loan officers and learned that each of my loan officers that actually listened to and attempted to implement just some of the methods taught by Erik were seeing an increase of 2-3 additional loans closed per month while those who did not even visit his site were actually seeing decreases in their average originations and closings. I feel very strongly that the sales knowledge and experience that Erik shares on the Loan Officer Survial training site will benefit and increase the personal production of anyone willing to take the time to listen to it and implement his methods."
Erik, that's how strongly I feel about what you have to say. Even today, several months later, I have all of your training modules loaded onto my iPod and I make an effort to listen to at least on of the modules every week. Any time I've hired a new employee, I've included your site and the materials on it in my training process as you basically say what I want to say but a whole lot better than I can! Thanks for providing that information for everyone to use!
Thanks,

Worth every dollar!!! You go straight to the point. You are not selling future products like I have heard from other similar products, rather you gave it all in one set. I noticed that you are not using the weird jargon found in other training manuals and you give credit to everyone who deserve it. I have been in business as a shop owner for 12 months this February 27, and based on what I have heard thus far, I realized why I almost closed the business a couple of times and went back to producing for others regardless if we were reaching our goal per month. If I had heard CD one, I could have save lots of my reserves when you give the hint about the Medical Insurance issue, I did the opposite, my DTIs really increased. I got to finish listening to the set. I cannot tell you right now the end results, but with the knowledge that I am getting from these CDs, I feel I am growing a better attitude toward to manage my business so I can increase my profitability. Feel free to use my comments as testimony. I know that many of the business that opened together with me during the course of the year, would have not closed if they had listened to what you have in these CDs. Of about 12 brokerage, there are only 3 shops left.

Anyway, GREAT stuff!!! Thanks for putting this all together...it is well worth it and it sounds like it' been really good for you too...I am glad to hear it. You are right too, there is nothing else like it out there!
Keep up the great work! I have told all of my friends in the business about your site...hopefully they'll do the SMART thing and buy it too!

I listened to your info before i started being an LO and it helped me know what i was getting into. I listened to all the info and i think i went into training with my branch smarter that i would have without your training. I know the lingo and i know what people are talking about. My first week i have 6 in my pipeline and i think it is all becuase of your voice telling me what to do. Its great and i thank you so much.

Hi Erik,
Here is what I think about your training CDs.
I truly and deeply believe that Erik’s CDs are 100% worth the price for the knowledge that you will gain. I have had a small mortgage company in San Diego for over 4 years but could not make it profitable. I've survived okay but not wealthy yet. I left a big company in anger in mid 2002 (Century 21/Homefunding) and was not prepared to be on my own that quick. After listening to the CDs, I now know what I've been doing wrong all these years. I have a nice office, but could never hire the right people; I spent more time babysitting than doing my own work. I wanted to be everyone’s friend. I am making a few changes and I expect a very good year this year. Erik once told me that I was the Ring Master in a circus full of clowns. How true...
What a lesson I learned the hard way. I highly recommend that if you are thinking of opening an office you should get these CDs. It will pay for itself in the money you save by starting up your office the correct way.
This is just my personal opinion, but Erik's training CDs both loan officer training and Manager training are the best you will find.
My office is small, but the exterior is very nice looking. I have a sliding glass door that looks out on the city and the trolley. Whoo Whoo. At the time I thought I had to have it in the best location to get the best clients and loan officers. I was wrong. In 4 years I've had maybe 6 clients to my office. I was cheap on my furniture, bought it from my former office when they remodeled. I got 7 metal desks, chairs for all the desks (they don’t all match) and a big black laminate desk (that I love, It previously belonged to a huge producer at Century 21) for $150 total. Where I went wrong, I spent several thousand dollars on new, the most expensive Business phones capable of 16 lines, fax, copier, file cabinets, conference table and chairs. Ohhh, the biggest mistake I made was spending $2000 total to install 4 phone lines from SBC. I recently bought used phones identical to mine on EBay for a 1/4 of what I originally paid.
Oh, by the way, for those who say why should I listen to someone like me, well, I've been in business since 1985. Started in 1985 at SafeCo Title which was sold to Chicago Title, since then I've done property management, done remodeling, owned several rental units, even had some flips where I made a lot of cash. I got my RE license in Feb 1998, started doing loans in 2000, so I can say "been there, done that".
When I started in 1998 with Century 21, they made me cold call from the phone book. I actually got my first listing that way. So I believe in telemarketing.
Thanks for listening,
